It’s so hard, yet so satisfying
Friday, November 25th, 2005So here I am again, updating my blog. It’s been quite hard trying to commit to a weekly update so I do it whenever I get the chance. So, since my bday, things have really picked up! 3 papers and 4 presentations, President and VP elections for AIESEC Manitoba, homework, homework, homework, 2 jobs, friends and a very active social/commerce/personal life! I ask myself sometimes, how I manage to do it all, but I actually don’t know. It’s been a learning experience certainly for me. I’m very blessed to have the chance to do it all.
So, I’m the new incoming president of AIESEC (my student group at Asper School of Business - www.aiesec.ca/manitoba). It sure was tough running because it meant incredible committment to the organization more more work for myself. Going in my final year next year, its’s certainly going to be tough being president. Last week, I had the rest of my executive team for next year elected. Welcome Jomar (VPMD), Pedro (VPOGX), Chelsie (VPCD), Alice (VPF), and Andrew (VPER). Still looking for one exec (VPICX). Its going to be an amazing year. We’re realizing so many accounts in our pipeline and I forecast to realize more qualified companies come next term. We’re holding the Western Regional Conference in 2006 Sept. I can’t wait to see how things will unfold–experiences the challenges ahead, the growth I will experience, the people I’ll meet and the friends I’ll make. I’m ready to take them all, I’m ready to be challenged!
School is kicking my butt a little bit but I’m hanging in there. I’m doing extremely bad in one of my class but doing very good on the other 3! So hopefully my marks hold up and my GPA doesn’t go down. I don’t care so much about GPAs. Im quite confident that I’ll get a job after grad. One more year and I’m done! Its gonna so good. I’m not in a hurry. I’m having the best time of my life!
Anyhow, I’m off to work
I’ll update later again
